The rooms at Base Camp Mexico were cozy and comfortable, with a shared bathroom and bed linen. I loved the homely feeling they gave me as a solo traveler. The desk in each room was a nice touch, perfect for working or planning my adventures!

Personally, I found the shared bathroom with a shower to be a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just my own preference.

Convenient location near attractions, downtown, and dining options. Clean and comfortable rooms with a communal kitchen and rooftop laundry area. Friendly and accommodating host with good local knowledge. Enjoyed my stay in this welcoming and homely accommodation.

I had a wonderful stay at Base Camp Mexico in Orizaba. the hostel is situated in a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the center, making it a perfect location to explore the city. the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the mattress was comfortable. the hosts, Fernando and Sara, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, treating me like family. I enjoyed chatting with them and even had the opportunity to join in on a barbecue with friends and family. It truly felt like a home away from home. the wifi was also excellent, which was a bonus.

The hostel had a great location, just a short walk from the main attractions and restaurants. It was also situated in a quiet street, allowing for a peaceful stay. The facilities were well-maintained, with clean rooms and comfortable mattresses. One of the best aspects was the friendly and helpful hosts, who were always ready for a chat and made me feel at home. The wifi connection was also excellent, which was a bonus.

One of the worst aspects was that the gate was locked at night without any prior notice. This caused inconvenience for guests who wanted to go out or return to the hostel after a certain time.

The hostel was more than I expected. The owners, Maria and Fernando, made me feel like family. Great location, close to town. Warm welcome and nice conversations. Learned a lot of Spanish.
